The uplink area is where the factions of the RPG list their satellites, and the uplinks that support them.
Although this area is neutral, satellites and uplinks can be attacked. Nobody can "own" this area.
If a satellite is equipped with weapons, it can attack other satellites.
Satellites usually need an uplink to support them. If a satellite isn't supported, it goes offline and it's functions do not resume until an uplink supports it.
