Marsmission.lego.com

History
"marsmission.lego.com" was a site on "lego.com" for 3 to 4 years until the Mars Mission line was cut. The site was decked out with a media lounge featuring movies, games, product list, and fan model gallery. Sadly, the downloads and gallery are not useable. The CrystAlien Conflict game briefly reappeared a few months after the site's closing, thus reopening the the site, however it was then removed a few months later, officially closing the Mars Mission web presence for good.

The WayBack Machine
The WayBack Machine and the internet archive are both the product of a non-profit movement to capture the internet and its history.
There are two ways you can get to the WayBack machine:
  1. You can get to it indirectly; In your browser, search for 'WayBack Machine'. Click the link that says "Internet Archive: WayBack Machine."
  2. Click the following link to go directly to the WayBack machine; https://archive.org/web/
Once you are there, you can type in the name of ANY website (for Mars Mission, type in http://marsmission.lego.com) in the search bar to see if there are available snapshots for the site. Click search.
You will get a calendar on your screen. A calendar? Click any year. For Mars Mission, you'll want to go with dates in 2008 for the best formatting, but really any marked date is worth a look. Don't go too far or Mars Mission won't be there.
Two in three times you'll get something that resembles the old site in its former glory!
