Astro Defense Guide

Astro Defense series:

1. Viper Attack:

AD1 ScreenshotThe Astros have stumbled upon the Alien Hive, but now the Hypersonic Spacecraft is in danger. The Aliens jetpacks (vipers) are launching an attack, and the Astros must defend their ship. The player is given a view of the Alien Hive from which the jetpacks will attack. The objective of the game is to mouse over all of the aliens on jetpacks to destroy them before they fly off screen and attack the Hypersonic Spacecraft. After the player has completed mousing over the aliens on jetpacks, a small astro vehicle readies its cannon, because the Alien Mothership has arrived. A fire button appears to prompt the player. Pressing the button advances the game to an animation of the alien mothership being damaged by the astro vehicle. Then, the game ends and the player wins.

2. Alien Assault:

AD2 ScreenshotBefore the game "officially" starts, the player is shown some crystals that fall down the screen while the game "loads." The crystals dissolve when clicked on.
Then, a recon dropship fires a blue laser at a ridge on Mars. The alien hive is revealed.

Level 1
Dragon cruisers come up to the player one by one and attempt to attack the player.
The dragon cruisers can be disabled by clicking on their blasters or engine.

Level 2
Alien etx infiltrators fly to the player, and they can be disabled just like Level 1.

Level 3
Both dragon cruisers and etx infiltrators enter the battle, flying in a more vigourous way.
They can be disabled just like in the previous levels. Finally, the mothership appears and can be taken down like the previous levels of the game.

3. Mining Mayhem:

The astros have found crystals while exploring on Mars.
They send the crystal miner to mine the crystals. Clicking on the
crystals will fill a meter indicating how much crystal has been mined.
The miner then encounters two dragon cruisers. Clicking on the dragon cruisers will disable them.
Then, the astro miner, along with the crystal reaper, must find a way back
to the hypersonic operations craft. There are several paths for the
player to choose for the crystal reaper to travel. The player can choose to use sonar
to decide which path to choose. Two paths lead to aliens, and one leads to the hypersonic operations craft.
