Administrative Action

This is a page where changes to the site can be logged by moderators. Normal members can also request changes to the site that require special permission.

The first list (below) is a log of changes to the site made by moderators (changes that can't be made by normal members). The second is a list on which normal members can write requests for moderator action to be taken.

Administrative Change-Log
Moderators and Administrators should use this list to log their actions as a MMW staff member. This includes, but is not limited to: stating reasons for thread deletion, explanations for the banning of members or IP addresses, renaming/moving pages etc.. It is expected that staff members make entries for any of their actions, but grouping together similar actions taken in the same day is allowed. No one other than Moderators or Administrators should edit this list.

Administrative Requests
Simply write your request detailing the entity in question and the action you wish to be taken. A reason is not necessary for the change to be made, but it would be helpful. Your request will be reviewed by a moderator or administrator before a decision is made. The status of your request will change depending on the action taken.

Status colors:
Black = New Request (Not yet reviewed)
Grey = Action pending or in progress
Orange = Clarification Needed (Please clarify, no action taken)
Green = Accepted (Action taken)
Red = Denied (No action taken, reason given)

Do not expect action to be taken immediately upon request, but if nothing has been done in about a day, post a thread or PM a moderator or administrator.

Note: If you are an active member who needs to make these kinds of changes regularly, and you would like to apply for a moderator position so that you can perform these changes yourself, then you may contact an active administrator of this site via their profile page and send them a private message explaining why you should become a moderator. Your request will then be reviewed with other moderators and administrators and a final decision will be made. It is suggested that you have been an active member here for quite some time before making a request.
